Escolarização e Inclusão

Resumo

Neste artigo pretende-se discutir como se dá a escolarização do aluno com deficiência inserido no ensino regular.  Para isso procura-se entender a educação como processo histórico-social que diante da diversidade tem o desafio de assegurar e oferecer educação de qualidade para todos. Para tanto, busca-se refletir e analisar dispositivos legais que asseguram o processo de escolarização de pessoas com deficiência. Além disso, traz à tona autores que tratam sobre essa temática, tais como Baptista (2006) e Pietro (2006), que discutem questões pertinentes à política de educação especial e a qualidade no que se refere ao ensino oferecido aos alunos com deficiência. Pretende-se. ainda, entender o papel do professor como mediador do processo de ensino/aprendizagem desses sujeitos na perspectiva de Vygotsky.

Education and inclusion

This article intends to discuss how students with disabilities are inserted in regular schools.  In order to do so, we seek to understand education as a socio-historical process, which given the diversity, has the challenge of ensuring and providing quality education for all. Therefore, we seek to reflect and analyze legal provisions that ensure the educational process for those with disabilities. Furthermore, it brings to light authors that deal with this issue, such as Baptista (2006) and Pietro (2006), who discuss issues regarding to the policy of special education and quality regarding the education offered to students with disabilities. Another objective is to understand the role of teachers as mediators of the teaching/learning process of these subjects from the perspective of Vygotsky.
