Human rights are based on the preservation of human life as well as its physical, moral and social integrity, being the demonstration of the freedom of the human person to the fullness of life. The objective was to carry out a historical and theoretical rescue of the Human Rights of Women from the International Law of Human Rights. A deductive method was used with bibliographical research in the main documents and report that govern the matter. The article is secured on two main axes. In the first, regarding the International Law of Human Rights, the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Declaration of Vienna. The other axis deals with the main normative instruments of international recognition of the Human Rights of Women, in which the world conferences on women and documents resulting from them are explored, such as the Beijing Declaration, the Women's Convention and the Convention of Belém do Pará.
