Abstract

This article analyzes the perceptions of pre-service teachers regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool in science education. This is a qualitative study, conducted with 14 pre-service teachers through a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The results indicate that participants recognize AI as a resource to support lesson planning, study organization, and interactive learning. They also highlight its potential to make classes more dynamic and accessible. However, they point out concerns related to the reliability of information and the need for critical and ethical use. AI, when used reflectively, can contribute to teacher training and the improvement of science education.
