Abstract

All of the sciences physical, biological, and social have a need for quantitative measurement.
The article seeks to establish the formal foundations for measurement, justifying the assignment
of numbers to objects in terms of their structural correspondence. The fundamental
idea is that measurements are not the same as the attribute being measured. The measurement
shows that strong assumptions are required to provide meaningful information about
reality and encourages people to think about the meaning of their data. It encourages critical
assessment of the assumptions behind the analysis. It encourages responsible real-world
data analysis. Mathematical statistics is concerned with the connection between inference
and data. The measurement concerned with the connection between data and reality and pointing to some aspects related to the process of algebrization” in order to approach its
elaboration context in more detail.
