VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER: O IMPACTO DESSA PRÁTICA NA SOCIEDADE BRASILEIRA

Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the impact of the practice of violence against women in Brazil,
showing the patriarchal culture about the relationships established between men and women
since the creation of society and during its evolution. With this, try to highlight the
legislative measures to eradicate violence through public policies to help the victims. The
analyzed data search to elucidate the real effectiveness of affirmative actions and the mechanism
of the legal apparatus created from the Maria da Penha Law, showing the neglect of the
Brazilian State as a provider and the society as an inspector due to the lack of full coverage
of the law and actions throughout the whole national territory, and in the absence of an
immediate response for the victims, unleashing serious consequences for the entire society.
