This article aims to address some consequences of global climate warming. Studies show
that in the coming decades, the average temperatures in the world may increase, and the
land area will also expand. With the growth of the world population, the need for adequate
nutritional food will be greater. According to the report of the United Nations Environment
Program (UNEP, 2022), one third of global food is wasted or lost every year. This affects the
livelihoods, food security and social well-being of millions of people, which also poses numerous hidden costs to the economy (UNEP, 2022). At the same time, many agricultural sites
will no longer be able to plant crops due to extreme warming, and at the same time, some
sites with competitive advantages due to climate change can be observed, such as countries
located in the Arctic region such as Canada. , Denmark, United States, Finland, Iceland,
Norway, Russia, Sweden, which will have defrosted areas, and with immense water potential
for grain production and agricultural cultivation due to thawing conditions and also mineral
exploration, gas and oil, tourism and fruits sea exports. The work will be developed by the
analytical method, and theoretical research, based on bibliographic surveys.
