A EXPLORAÇÃO SEXUAL INFANTIL PERPETUADA POR CAMINHONEIROS AO LONGO DA BR-116

Previous researches elucidates the perpetuation of Child Sexual Exploitation by road professionals - truck drivers - along the highways, around the regions that neaby the BR-116, for
numerous purposes. In this way, the present article expands the real and diverse reasons that
subject children and adolescents to the phenomenon of sexual exploitation, concentrating
on the truck drivers, which represents one of the main characters of the practice. After the
exhibition of the problem, there is the exposition of institutions responsible for the insertion of victims in the social environment and, similarly, for facing the phenomenon along
highways, gas stations, bars and other places susceptible to the fact. Finally, was sought about
prevention the phenomenon, unfortunate, ordinary in several regions and which, on several
occasions, becomes culturally seen by the population as a commonplace circumstance, being
camouflaged by the ills that surround it, in addition to clarify the dreary reasons why so
many minors are subjected to the deplorable situation described.
