DARK ELEMENTS AND METANOIA

The aim of the article was to identify the influence of the dark elements in the second half
of life, that is, in metanoia. The period delimited for research was the second phase of
life. The method used was an exploratory research with bibliographic design. He
addressed the following problem: what are the influences of the dark inhabitants on
metanoia? And he confirmed the following hypothesis: The inhabiting elements in the
shadows really influence the human being in carrying out the individuation process. The
research was directed as a focus to verify the hypothesis and answer the problem
mentioned above. For the reasoning, concepts such as: archetypes, complex, shadow,
anima / animus, persona, Self, and the ego were used as the element responsible for the
mediation between the unconscious and the conscience.
