Abstract

m the perspective of International Human Rights Law and the 17 Sustainable Development
Goals, established by the United Nations General Assembly, and specifically toward
the target 5.3 of Goal 5, the present article aims to analyze the child marriage in Santos/
SP. In the face of systematic check of global, national, and regional indices, sought to obtain
an accurate analysis of the situation and a comprehensive view of the municipality reality
from the perspective of the problematic. Therefore, the study operated a careful survey of
programs and public politics in national and international ambits, implemented with the
acknowledged efficiency. Finally, based on the listed information and the obtained overview,
eight public policy subsidies were structured to align municipal public policies to the expected
results with the 2030 Agenda.

Doutor em Direito Internacional; Direito do Estado/Direito Ambiental e em Direitos Fundamentais. Mestrado em Direito Comunitário pela Universidade de Coimbra. Graduado em Ciências Sociais e Jurídicas pela Universidade de São Paulo. Professor Titular de Direito Ambiental da Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado e Professor Assistente Doutor no Programa de Doutorado em Direito Ambiental Internacional da Unisantos.

CATARINA ALMEIDA MUNIZ, UNIVERSIDADE CATÓLICA DE SANTOS
