Abstract

This Project presents the proposal to analyze the transformation and deconstruction of the character Snow White, in the series once upon a time in relation to its representativeness of the original tale of the Brothers Grimm.The research aims to analyze how the character was reconfigured in the series, based on a cut from the first season, in order to identify the ruptures that Snow White suffered by comparing the classic version of the Grimm brother sandal so considering the Disney film adaptation: Snow White and the seven dwarfs (1937). This will be accomplished through research and analysis of scenes from the series and reading of the original work of the Brothers Grimm, we will seek to present the rupture process in the construction of the new Snow White in the series, which is inserted in a new fictional context. The following project aims to create a reflection on the new media and television narratives of today, the origin of fairy tales and how is the process of building and deconstructing a character.
