EDUCAÇÃO PATRIMONIAL COMO ESTRATÉGIA PARA UMA FORMAÇÃO PLURAL

This work aims to understand and analyse the Heritage Education as an efficient instrument to be able to deal with the plurality in museums and heritages context to improve the knowledge in a transversal way. Considering the importance the educational work aligned with cultural Heritage recognizing the cultural diversity from memory and identity concepts. This research is based on the artworks of Evelina Grunberg and Maria de Lourdes Horta who contribute and develop studies in Heritage Education; the concepts and essays of Stuart Hall around the contemporarily identity and among other authors. For this purpose, the methodology came from literature searches, semi-estructured interviews and research about this topic. We can conclude that the Heritage Education must be considered as an essencial concept and practice to the valorization and respect of cultural diversity. Thus, we can notice the strenghtening of collective and individual memories, identities, redemocratization and the importance of cultural assets, as museums and heritage, towards society.
