The present work aims to approach Sustainable Buildings from the perspective of the constitutional principles of prevention, precaution and sustainable development. These principles
represents ne of the sources of the environmental law. Sustainable buildings, as They have
the lowest possible environmental impact. For the elaboration of the work, a bibliographical
research was carried out followed by the survey of the legislation pertinent to the studied
them., Thus examples of Sustainable Buildings will be presented, built in different four brazilian coastal cities and demonstrated the effectiveness of the mentioned principles.
